Bill Forrest is the Founder of Tower Three Partners LLC.
Bill has more than 25 years of hands-on turnaround experience as a crisis manager,
operating executive and investment banker. He is currently a Board Member of Facet Investment, Inc., Heritage Golf Group, NTS, Inc. and Teters Floral Products, Inc. Previously, he was the Chairman and a Director of Restoration Hardware Holdings, Inc. as well as a Director of Magellan Health Services Inc. His role goes beyond expertise and business acumen. Bill is the motivator, consultant, and mentor to this highly skilled team at Tower Three Partners.
From 2004-2006, he was the Executive Chairman of Cosi, a publicly traded premium convenience restaurant operator. While successfully leading the restructuring of companies, Bill actively works with CEOs to build executive teams, improve operational disciplines, increase margins and obtain multiple rounds of financing as is required.
Bill was a Managing Director at Gleacher Partners LLC from 2001–2004, where he led the firm’s Restructuring Group and served as a member of the Management Committee. While at Gleacher, among numerous other transactions, he led the restructuring of Magellan Health Services, where he worked with Mr. Steve Shulman, a Facet Board Member, and a Tower Three Medical advisor.
From 1997–1999, Bill was a crisis manager/interim CEO for Fine Host Corporation, a $330 million publicly traded food service company. There he completed a successful turnaround by negotiating a comprehensive balance sheet restructuring and utilizing a pre-arranged Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding, as well as by implementing a strategic integration plan of acquired companies for this 23-subsidiary operating company. Prior to Fine Host, from 1988-1997, he served as a corporate restructuring professional to a broad variety of businesses.
Bill began his career at Laventhal & Horwath, an international accounting and consulting firm. He received a BA from Cornell University. His work has been published in the American Bankruptcy Journal and he has been a featured speaker for many organizations. In 1997, he attained the designation of Certified Turnaround Professional (“CTP”).

Bill is known for fostering an environment where leadership and talent development are top priorities along with value creation for all stakeholders.
Peter Fitzsimmons is a Managing Director of Tower Three Partners, and a member of the investment committee. Peter’s role is to work with management teams to develop strategic plans and execute tactics that lead to performance improvement at portfolio companies and for potential investments. He also shares responsibility for sourcing new investment opportunities for the firm.
Peter has more than 25 years of experience in growing the profitability of companies of variable sizes, and with businesses in the US, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Tower Three Partners, Peter served as President of the consulting firm AlixPartners in North America, during a time when the firm doubled in size. He also co-founded and built AlixPartners European business.
Peter has been a CEO, CFO and Chief Restructuring Officer, as well as a hands-on advisor for companies in a wide variety of industries, including retail, distribution, automotive and other services businesses. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for a number of companies. He brings with him an ability to materially improve performance in a short period of time.
Peter holds a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Michael Khutorsky is a Principal of Tower Three Partners. Prior to joining Tower Three, Michael co-founded Turnspire Capital Partners, an operationally-focused private equity firm targeting special situation investments. Prior to Turnspire, Michael spent more than five years with Trilantic Capital Partners, where he identified, evaluated, structured and executed control and minority investments in the industrial, consumer and business services sectors. Earlier in his career, Michael was a turnaround professional at Alvarez & Marsal and an investment banker at Wit SoundView.
Michael holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
